Heather Lipner

Heather caught the dot com bug in 1998 at the University of Wisconsin-Madison while earning her degree in Economics. Her fascination with technology brought her to Los Angeles, where she started designing websites for dot com startups. Included among her many accomplishments are launching her own iPhone applications, General Manager of the award winning design firm, Fluidesign, Art Director for the MySpace redesign as well as Marketing Creative Director post redesign. In 2012 Heather launched Uncovet, a marketplace focused on indie fashion and home accessories. Heather was brought on to present the data she found using Uncovet on multiple TV shows such as E! News, Extra & NBC as a trend forecaster to predict fashion week & seasonal trends. At the end of 2013, Heather created Clashist, building it into a millennial cult apparel brand focused on pop culture and social issues using progressive and nostalgic prints on unisex bodies. Currently Heather is consulting & building an Augmented Reality Apparel Line, Drawsta.

What is the most important “job” in your life right now?

Working on launching a new business @drawsta

What is your key to feeling beautiful no matter how busy you are?

Keeping energized – could mean going out, working out, reading something inspiring, creating something I love, etc.

What is your greatest strength?

Creativity

Do you have any hidden talents?

Yes, I can cry on cue.

What is your favorite Bellacures service?

The scrubs. I tend to have dry skin so I have to exfoliate and lotion a lot.

Do you ever get nail art?

I did once to match my Jeff Goldblum tee. I would get more geometric simple & pretty nail art.

What is your ideal Saturday like?

Morning meet up with a friend and get nails done, then lunch, then back to the internet for me!

What is your go-to restaurant and/or bar in town?

Wellllllll I rarely share this, but Bar Kitchen inside O Hotel Downtown has amazing food & drinks.

What is the last book you read?

The Elon Musk book. I am jealous of him – he was born brilliant & relentless.

Beauty product(s) you cannot live without?

Tatcha Firming Serum, Yonka eye cream, Hourglass veil primer, Laura Mercier eye concealer, Chantecaille pressed powder. I can live with anything else on top – but the bottom layer to me is the most important.

Who has the best coffee in LA?

Stumptown nitros.

Would you ever wear your nails pointy?

Hell No.
